Very beautiful Shereen. I always want to see Cherry Blossom. There was a year we went to Washington DC just for this but we were 1 week too late. All the blossom dah kering and turns brown and the one in front of our house pulak, one branch saja ada bunga. Weird or not ?
Gert, Spring time in NZ, you can find these blossoms everywhere.Pinks and whites too. Many roads around Auckland will tanam these trees along the streets...very beautiful. With these blossoms, you have to time your visit carefully but this year,I have been seeing them flowering since early September and there are still some trees that I saw haven't fully bloomed yet.Funny!
why i missed this post! I have been thinking why Shereen so long did not update her blog and leave me a comment, LOL! I like the way you describe my croissant "chow tah", i like the "chow tah" croissant, hahaha..better aroma right. Ok, if i visit Sydney, i make sure try the real deal. Before i forgot, your flower pictures are awesome, love it!
Hahaha Sonia..I was worried that I hurt your feelings after I commented that your chow tah croissants look like the original...although I meant well and mean it as a compliment...lol!I was missing in action for a while...holidays and being sick after that. Thanks for dropping by.
Hi Shereen, the flower pictures are gorgeous! =D I guess the reason why the cherry blossom trees in KL (if there is ever one) don't really bloom is because of the weather. Auckland's spring is soothing and calm, KL is hot.
Hi Waverly, So good to 'see' you again. You are right..KL is too hot for any cherry blossom to bloom. This year's spring is rather not there yet...coming to summer but haven't really got many nice spring day...rain and many gloomy and windy days. Can't wait for summer when the beautiful NZ Christmas Trees ( pohutukawa)flower:)
So pretty. Watch out for my post...this Friday, I think...
